Totally fall in love with this pattern from the 1st time I saw it, it's not only a dress, it's origami art in Japan, it's somehow same as Ao dai in Vietnam, and it also like attaching a flower on the dress ^^

I made it with taffeta fabric and silk lining ^^

To be honest I didn't like this dress in the magazine. It looks shapeless. But your variant from taffeta is wonderful. May be I'll sew one for myself. That is exactly, why I love fotoforum, here one may get so many ideas.
